BASIC FUNCTION

Assist Head Coach in coaching and supervising in the sport involved.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

• Assist Head Coach in all phases of coaching in the sport involved.
• Enforces disciplined and sportsmanlike behavior at all times.
• Fills in for the Head Coach when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: a high school diploma or G.E.D and 21 years of age. 

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Successful completion of all required training per board policy; including but limited: physical and emotional development of students, school’s discipline policies, procedures for dealing with discipline problems and safety and first aid training(CPR/AED certification), a clear criminal records check and follows all KHSAA and NFHS guidelines and regulations. 

EVALUATION

Annually by Head Coach/Athletics Director/Principal
